But you’d have to be to pay what these guys pay to put themselves in the game. If you don’t have access to a centrifuge, they’re right, you’re not going to be able to get a proper 100% simulation of the turn-and-burn dynamics that make up most of these dog-fighting games; but that goes for anything that isn’t ground-bound. A Stewart platform can provide a pretty convincing scale simulation of a road-race as long as you don’t go flying in the air when you hit the sidewall at 200 km/h, but you need to suspend your disbelief when it comes to anything that is meant to lift off the ground. Still, isn’t gaming all about the suspension of disbelief? And something is better than nothing.
