Movement in Unity

I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the sphere move but there is so little proper information on how to do it I’ve been stumbling around for a couple of days (and completing Uncharted 2…). You can use a ‘constant force’ but it’s not very responsive and I need to be able to limit the rotation. A configurable joint seems the best bet but instead of wasting time on my complicated model I went ‘back to basics’ and made a simple model with just a sphere and joint to figure out how it works. You can only rotate in two axis but this is ok, I can probably nest the joint in another hinge joint and it will still work…..Screenshot 2014-09-14 11.25.21
